Coat of Many Colors: A Tribute to Dolly Parton is a heartfelt, high-energy celebration of one of country music’s most beloved icons.
Performed by Holly Michelle, the show brings Dolly’s music to life through powerful live vocals, engaging storytelling, and authentic charm. A stickler for sound, Holly and accompanying musicians go to great lengths to replicate the original songs, costumes, and energy, striving to present a show that is as close to the original as possible.
From timeless classics like Jolene, 9 to 5, and Coat of Many Colors to the humor and heart that define Dolly’s legacy, this show also captures the spirit behind the songs, not just the sound.
Audiences are invited to sing along, laugh, and connect with music that has touched generations.
Based in North Georgia, this tribute show travels throughout the Southeast and beyond, delivering an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
The Performer:
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Holly Michelle was born into a family where music and events were a way of life. With a father who worked as a DJ and a mother who built her career as an event planner, Holly grew up immersed in an eclectic soundtrack; ranging from the timeless, velvety vocals of Patsy Cline to the intricate harmonies of The Beach Boys, and the country-rock edge of Dwight Yoakam.
She took the stage for the first time at just 13 years old with a tribute to the Ladies of Country, and has been performing ever since. Holly is especially drawn to the artistry of Dolly Parton; her distinctive voice, emotional honesty, and vivid storytelling, which continues to inspire Holly's work today.
Now based in North Georgia, Holly balances her life as a performer, event producer, and creative entrepreneur. She holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Music Business and is the founder of 1904 Lifestyle, an event company producing a wide range of small- and medium-scale experiences for both clients and independent audiences.
When she’s not on stage, Holly can often be found writing music, planning her next production, or spending time with her family; including her partner, who frequently captures moments behind the lens at her shows, and her dog, Merle Haggard.
